How to install wDTC (Web Device Link) in silent mode?

Issue

<p>Device Link Software can now be installed <strong>remotely in silent mode</strong> by a computer administrator, allowing the deployment in multiple devices, without the end-user interaction.</p><p>These instructions are intended to <strong>help IT teams</strong> adapt the installation to their internal deployment processes (including automated deployment or device management tools). Configuration may vary depending on organizational setup. For persistent issues, contact local Customer Support.</p>

Solution

<h5>Before getting started</h5><p><strong>Ensure you have administrator rights.</strong><br><strong>Compatibility:</strong> Windows</p><h5>Download the .exe</h5><p>Download wDTC from <a href="https://care.rochediabetes.com/buckets/wdtc/data_uploader.exe">https://care.rochediabetes.com/buckets/wdtc/data_uploader.exe</a>&nbsp;</p><h5>Complete the installation</h5><p>Open a Terminal window in the location of the downloaded &nbsp;wDTC Plugin and tun the following command: &nbsp;cmd /c Setup.exe --silent --log</p><h5>Considerations</h5><p>The process should not be interrupted until completion. There is <strong>no rollback mechanism</strong>, so interrupted installations may require manual recovery<br>wDTC <strong>does not support uninstall or repair in silent mode</strong></p><h5>Troubleshooting</h5><p><strong>Installation may fail if:</strong></p><ul><li>The installer is not executed with sufficient permissions</li><li>The command is not run from the correct folder</li><li>Required parameters are missing or incorrect</li><li>The process is interrupted before completion</li></ul>
