Manage a patient’s testing routine with Guidelines

Issue

<p>Use <strong>Guidelines</strong> in Accu‑Chek Care to monitor your patient’s blood glucose testing habits and help plan their next supply of test strips. Guidelines track test strip use and alert you if the routine changes.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><button class="icon-close notice-icon" type="button"> <img src="/modules/custom/roche_global_settings/templates/icon/Cross.svg" alt="notice close icon"> </button>Note: This feature is optional and may not be available in all countries or centers. To enable it for a patient, make sure Pick up at center is selected when creating or editing that patient’s profile.</p>

<h5>How to set a guideline?</h5><ul><li>In the patient view, open <strong>Strip management</strong> from the sidebar.</li><li>Select the <strong>Guideline</strong> tab.</li></ul><h5><br>What types of guidelines does Accu-Chek include?</h5><ol><li><strong>Active guideline:</strong> a standard routine you want to follow.<br>Choose the appropriate options from the menus and click<strong> Save.</strong></li><li><strong>Temporary guideline </strong>for special situations (e.g., pregnancy or post‑surgery).<br>Click<strong> + Add temporary guideline</strong>, set the options, then <strong>Save.</strong></li><li><strong>Custom clinical guide:</strong> a tailored routine that differs from standard patterns.<br>Use existing custom guides or create a new one:<br>1. At the top right, click <strong>Custom clinical guide options</strong> and then <strong>Create new custom clinical guide</strong>.<br>2. Name it and select the relevant <strong>Patient therapy</strong> and <strong>Test frequency</strong> settings.<br>3. Adjust the slider as needed and click <strong>Save</strong>.</li></ol>
